May 2026 Children’s Ministry Newsletter

This month we will be honoring the women who take care of us.  The children have been working on a beautiful gift to give to their mom, grandmother, aunt, etc. who ensures their happiness, health, and care every day.   Also, this month we will be talking about Jesus’ final days with his disciples before he goes up to heaven.  On May 24^th,Pentecost Sunday, the children will experience the meaning of Ascension outside with bubbles and wind and warmth from the soon to be summer sun. The Blessing Cart Garden has been planted; we now weed and water regularly to ensure its healthy growth.   So far, we have tomatoes, potatoes, squash,broccoli, radishes, and onions.

Remember that May has 5 weeks and we use that fifth week to give the children time to be in regular worship with their family. There are quiet activity materials in the cabinet in the Narthex if your child needs to keep their hands busy.

Lastly, May 3^{rd 3} at 3pm in the Fellowship Hall is our CPR/First Aid training for our children’s ministry team and we have added a few youth to attend as well.
